September 11: a moment of silence surrounded by 23 hours and fifty-nine minutes of blaring hype.
Bush wants to have September 11 celebrated as Patriot Day because as we all know on 9-11-01 nobody would have risked or given their lives just for fellow human beings -- no, the abiding thought was "Oh my god, flags are at stake! We've got to save them!"
Patriot Day: a day during which Court-appointed President Bush expects us to count our blessings for being Americans while not counting how many articles of the Bill of Rights his illegitimate regime has unilaterally rescinded.
A Bush Patriot: someone who loves the country so much that they would never mention how terribly disastrous his illegitimate rule has been.
Bush's American Way: Secret trials, preemptive military assaults and the privatization of the Oval Office.
At this rate, expect Bush to call for the closing of the polls on election day out of respect for victims of the 9-11 attacks.
Threats from Saddam that Americans would see the "Gates of Hell" should they attack have turned out to be so much a hot air. A quick check found the Microsoft chairman in his Redmond, Washington office.
And Gates has the ultimate weapon of mass destruction -- the Windows operating system.
Today's question:How much money do you suppose Condaleeza Rice spends on burnt cork every month?
Did you know? Until last year September 11 was best remembered for being forgotten by Americans as the day in 1970 their government backed the terrorist overthrow and assassination of democratically elected President Salvador Allende in Chile.
Before that, September 11 was just the day in 1918 when Eugene Debs gave an impassioned speech before a rigged Cleveland court that sent him to prison for employing his First Amendment rights.
The Bush Preemptive Strike Doctrine: Remember Pearl Harbor-- as excellent strategy!
Bush's suggestion to Tony Blair: Forget the Maine!
Dick Cheney is a deft public speaker -- all those appearances and he has yet to chip a fang on a microphone.
Thank goodness the Court-appointed Bush Administration is tight with Big Pharma or they'd have to pay for the horse tranquilizers they injected into Colin Powell before he appeared on TV Sunday morning.
Powell is the ethical person in the regime because he can still feel shame -- he doesn't act on it or anything, but he can feel it.
Last year George W. Bush announced to the community of nations that, "You're either with us or against us." His bloodlust for Iraq has certainly permitted those nations to prove his point.
A year ago no one was sure what George W. Bush was doing as the terrorists plotted. This year we can rest assured that if there is another terrorist assault on the US we will know what W was doing during the time leading up to the disaster -- plotting his own terrorist attacks on Iraq.
Oh I forgot, you're not supposed to say Bush is planning to attack Iraq , he is planning to attack Saddam. Those hundreds of thousands of terrified peasants between Saddam and the bombs will just need to be seen for what they are: zealots forming a human shield because they worship evildoers.
Americans, be true patriots and join the world by abandoning Bush.
They were going to reenact Bush's Nebraska visit but Don Knotts cancelled at the last minute so there was no one of proper stature to portray Bush.
Instead, Nebraskans will mark the anniversary of Court-appointed President Bush's surprise 9-11 visit to their state by wearing black arm bands.... across their mouths.
Citing trumped up reports of satellite photos that purportedly proved Iraq is expanding its nuclear capability, Court-appointed President Bush said, "I don't know what more evidence we need. We owe it to future generations to deal with this problem." Now that Bush has been demonstrated to have been LYING about this matter in an attempt to justify war, all I can say is : I don't know what more evidence we need. We owe it to future generations to deal with this problem.
Is it just me or have there been way too many "first person accounts" concerning 9-11-01 from people whose only connection to the events was that they, like 270 million or so others, happened to live in the country where the assaults took place? If I hear one more twit bleat, "and now, when I go to the mall..... I take an extra look around," it will require extreme restraint to keep myself from planning some assaults of my own.
Humble suggestion for 9-11: demonstrate true respect for victims of violence by working for peace.
