In gratitude
Dear Al Giordano, Thanks for the mention on your enormously popular blog, The Field. I can't tell you how much it means to me. Of course had you included a link to my site in your piece read by your MILLIONS of influential readers, it would have been nice, too. But that's not your problem, it's mine. You see, I'm a poor man who is trying to generate some meager revenue from my little website in hopes of keeping body and soul at the same convenient location. But beggars can't be choosers or the Edwards campaign would have gone further!

Don't get me wrong -- I understand you're very busy whipping up whirlwinds, starting groundswells and igniting prairie fires. Caught up in your non-stop work for the common good, it's understandable that you'd lose track of just how much a well-placed hyperlink on The Field would mean to a loyal old ally. Quite frankly, your excessive humility causes you to forget your massive influence. Who could get upset over such a virtuous shortcoming? Not I!

Again, thanks so much for the mention. It was a genuine thrill!

Signed in the very name you published (and I'll never wash it again!),
